Occupation: Fashion and Beauty editor at Dance Spirit, a national monthly teen magazine. I also freelance for publications, like Time Out New York.
Location: NYC! I'm a native New Yorker and totally obsessed with Manhattan.
Fashion Icon: Rachel Bilson. She's a petite brunette (like me!) and always looks super chic.
Stylish somebody I've met: Nina Garcia—well, not officially, I used to open her mail when I interned at Elle back in 2003 (I was 18, and it was my first internship ever!). I recently saw her out in NYC. She's so stylish.
Most interesting fashion gig: The first fashion show I ever attended, it was Bryan Reyes Spring 2007 RTW collection, and I got to go because I was freelancing in the online fashion department at New York's website nymag.com. As the Dance Spirit fashion editor, I now get invited to some of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week shows. It's inspiring to be in the middle of all of that buzz. Another exciting part of my career has been styling DS fashion shoots, especially when we use glamorous dancers as models, like the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes or a bunch of Broadway stars.
Fav True Birds accessory: Right now I'm really into my pink leaf beaded headband. Fall is my favorite season so I think I'm drawn to leaf accessories, like I have this gorgeous pair of gold leaf earrings from London.
Beauty Must: My Chi hair iron. I have naturally curly hair and use it to smooth out my side-bangs.
Name: SummerOccupation: Editor of ELIZA Magazine, www.elizamagazine.com

Beauty Must: Dr. Pepper Bonne Bell Lipgloss
Favorite Bird: Swans, because the usually mate for life and can be seen kissing.

Name: Cassandre, C.G
Occupation: Personal shopper/stylist
Location: L.A
Fashion Icon: None in particular but i love the 20's. Art Deco, boy Cut, Flapper dress etc.
Stylish somebody I've met: My high school principal Clara Lisa Kabbaz. When she decided to finally cut off her long locks to a shorter wavy 20's inspired flapper hair, her total appearance changed as well as her taste. Since then, i am always so eager to visit my old High school because i love to see what new handbag and jewelry she's wearing.
Most interesting Fashion gig: As a Fashion student I was a dresser for a Fashion show at Barneys. The models weren't anybody of high standard, but just being surrounded by their beautiful tall bodies and clothing, such as Alexander Wang, Marc Jacobs, Lanvin, Miu miu and many other was ecstasy and visually compensating. It was such an honor for me to be a part of the show and most importantly having full responsibility of (touching) the clothing.
Fav True Bird: Flirtatious Feathering in plush plume and Lavish Lavender (those pieces coming soon to truebirds.com!)
Beauty Must: I got to have my blush. I am never creative with my makeup, because i like subtlety on my face but blush is my key to beauty. Being brunette and having blue eyes, blush brings my eyes and freckles out!
Favorite Bird: The Crow, I'm always curious to what they are saying.
**Cassandre's first post, Summer Sandals, is Wednesday, May 27th.
