Remember that rad chap from the last season of Project Runway? Its the one and only Jerell Scott a finalist in Season 5. We ran into each other in the Fashion District one day and he was as nice and can be. I was so excited to express what a BIG fan I am of him! Out of all contestants he was the one I always wanted to meet because he loves to embellish, embellish, embellish. Something I think we have in common with True Birds? Haha, definitely have that in common!
He invited Heidi and I to his L.A. boutique, Jane Doe John Doe to share our accessory line with him and his co-owner and fellow designer, Ani Lee. They picked up the line immediately and have even used some accessories in their personal photoshoots. So fun for us, thanks Jerell and Ani!
Also, a great thing about Jane Doe John Doe is that they are the premiere boutique for carrying Project Runway designers. They carry more Project Runway designers than any other store/boutique in the country. We feel honored to be tagged on along with that type of design crowd! Jane Doe John Doe is located across from the Beverly Center in Beverly Hills, go take a look if you're in town and say hi to Ani and Jerell, as described above they are truly the best.
We definitely had a few great pics of the wonderful Jerell with our accessories in his and Ani's boutique but Heidi has my camera on a campout for a week up in the mountains so we'll have to post those later!
